NEW JERSEY MOTION PICTURE AND TELEVISION COMMISSION

TO ATTEND FILM, STAGE & SHOWBIZ EXPO

 

 

 

The inaugural Film, Stage and Showbiz Expo will be held at the Hilton in New York City on Sunday, September 21, 2008. This major event is designed to bring together a large and diverse group of professionals representing all facets of the entertainment business.

 

Attendees, who may enter for free, will have the opportunity to learn about new, industry related products and services, discover emerging technologies, attend workshops and seminars, and make important contacts while networking with other professionals.

 

Some 8,000 – 10,000 people are expected to attend the Expo, including studio executives, producers, directors, musicians and graphic designers. Scheduled workshops will cover an array of topics including screenwriting, post production, distribution, and casting.

 

Representatives of the New Jersey Motion Picture and Television Commission will be available to provide information about filming in New Jersey, discuss available economic incentives and distribute literature. Commission staff members will occupy a booth on the event floor.
